🔥 Fasting Is an Altar

Fasting is not just abstaining from food — it is building an altar before God.

An altar is a place of exchange. It is where sacrifice meets covenant. When we fast, we lay down our appetites and lift up our hunger for God. Jesus said, “when you fast” — not if you fast. Fasting is an expectation in the life of a believer.

Other religions fast for power and influence, but as Christians, we fast from victory — not for victory. Through Jesus Christ, our triumph is already secured. Christ, our Passover Lamb, has been sacrificed for us (1 Corinthians 5:7).

As we fast in this sacred month, we take every gate in prayer. We raise an altar of worship, prayer, and giving. We declare the end from the beginning because our God has already spoken it (Isaiah 46:10).

Today is our Covenant Reset.

Let us encounter our Bethel.

1️⃣ Worship & Thanksgiving

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise…”

Before we ask, we adore. Before warfare, we worship. Thanksgiving establishes the altar.

🛐 Prayer:

“Father, I enter Your gates with thanksgiving. I bless Your holy name. Thank You for salvation through Jesus Christ. Thank You for preservation, provision, family, and Your faithfulness. You are Alpha and Omega. You declare the end from the beginning. Be enthroned over my life and household.”

2️⃣ Repentance & Removal of Leaven

📖 Psalm 139:23–24

Before deliverance comes cleansing. Israel removed leaven before Passover. Leaven represents hidden sin, compromise, pride, bitterness, and spiritual apathy.

🛐 Prayer:

“Search me, O God, and know my heart. Expose every hidden attitude that grieves You. I remove every leaven from my life and household. Purify my altar. Lead me in the everlasting way.”

3️⃣ Family Deliverance

The blood was placed on the doorposts of the house. Deliverance is covenantal and generational.

🛐 Prayer:

“By the blood of Jesus, my household is marked for preservation. Every generational cycle of bondage breaks now. As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. The destroyer must pass over!”

Kingdom advancement requires unity and divine partnership.

“Father, strengthen our fellowship in the gospel. Unite our hearts in purpose. Send destiny helpers. Let our labor in the Lord produce lasting fruit.”

We lift up every church in our district before the Lord. We declare revival, unity, holiness, and growth. Every satanic altar speaking against the work of God is torn down in Jesus’ name.

Every satanic altar is destroyed. My victory is established in Christ!”
