Daily Bible Devotion - Serving God with Our Time

25. July 2026

Devotion by Reverend Joseph Antwi

Theme: Serving God with your Time, Tithes and Offering

Serving God with Our Time

Beloved,

Instead of our usual devotion today, we will spend time in personal Bible study and prayer. My prayer is that you will allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you personally through His Word as you meditate on these Scriptures and discuss them together.

I also encourage everyone to go back and read Thursday’s and Friday’s devotions. The teachings shared over the past two days are powerful and foundational to this month’s theme. If you were away at the conference or were unable to read them, please take time to do so. I do not want anyone to miss the truths God has been teaching us about serving Him with our time.

Read each Scripture carefully with your partner (2s), discuss the questions, and pray together over what God reveals to you. Or you can also do it by yourself

1. Psalm 90:12

“So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

Questions

1. What does it mean to “number our days”?

2. What is one practical way you can use your time more wisely for God this week?

2. Ephesians 5:15–17

”…redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Questions

1. What does it mean to redeem the time?

2. What is the biggest distraction preventing you from using your time well?

3. Luke 10:38–42

Questions

1. Why did Jesus commend Mary instead of Martha?

2. Are you more focused on serving God or spending time with God? Explain.

4. Proverbs 6:6–11

Questions

1. What lessons can we learn from the ant?

2. In what area of your life do you need greater discipline?

5. John 9:4

“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day…”

Questions

1. What assignment has God placed before you that you should not delay?

2. What step of obedience will you take this week?

🙏 Prayer Time

Pray together and ask the Lord to:

* Give you wisdom to use your time for His glory.

* Help you overcome every distraction and procrastination.

* Give you grace to be diligent and faithful in every assignment He has entrusted to you.

* Help you put Him first in your daily schedule.

“So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” — Psalm 90:12 (NKJV)

Shalom,

Rev. Joseph Antwi
