The book of Romans, written by the Apostle Paul around AD 57, is a deeply theological letter addressed to the believers in Rome, a diverse group of Jews and Gentiles. Though Paul had not visited the church, he wrote to explain the gospel, unify believers, and prepare them for his upcoming missionary journey. Romans offers a clear and systematic explanation of salvation by grace through faith and the righteousness of God revealed in Christ.
Let’s be honest—sharing the gospel isn’t always easy. Sometimes it feels awkward, uncomfortable, even shameful. We may ask ourselves:
“What will my colleagues think? Will my friends laugh at me? What if they reject me?”
I’ve been there.
But then the Holy Spirit asks: Do you ever feel ashamed talking about someone you truly love? No! In fact, you proudly speak about them. And that’s how it should be with Jesus.
Jesus Himself said in Luke 9:26, “If you are ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of you when He comes in His glory.” That verse keeps me grounded.
When I started sharing the gospel, it wasn’t on a stage—it was on the streets. One conversation at a time. And in those simple, raw moments, I saw the power of the gospel at work: broken people finding hope, lost souls feeling seen, and the Holy Spirit touching hearts. That’s when I truly discovered: God wants people to know Him—and He wants to use us to reach them.
Romans 1:16–17 makes it plain: the gospel isn’t just a religious message. It’s power. It’s not about our boldness or skill—it’s about the message of Christ that brings transformation. The righteousness of God is revealed through this message—not by works, but by faith. And this righteousness is for everyone who believes.

Reflection & Faith Challenge:
Ask yourself today:
• Have I been silent because of fear or shame?
• Where might God be calling me to be unashamed?
• Who around me needs to hear the gospel—through my life or my words?
You don’t need a microphone or a platform. You just need a willing heart. God will do the rest.

Prayer:
Father, thank You for the power of the gospel. Thank You for saving me, and for trusting me to carry this message to others. Remove every fear, shame, or hesitation from my heart. Help me to speak boldly, live faithfully, and love people unconditionally. Let the gospel shine through me in every place You send me. In Jesus’ name,
