Prayer of the Day🙏

Lord, thank You that You are a God of abundance. Take what little I have—my time, my talents, my resources—and use them for Your glory. Help me to trust that no gift is too small in Your hands. Teach me to give with a willing heart and to believe that You can multiply what I surrender. Amen.

Scriptures of the Day

• Psalm 25:16–22 – “Relieve the troubles of my heart and free me from my anguish.”

• Mark 7:31–8:13 – “They all ate and were satisfied.”

• Exodus 35:1–36:7 – “Everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord.”

What You Give to God, He Multiplies

God is not looking for the biggest offering—He’s looking for a willing heart. Hattie May Wiatt, a six-year-old girl, gave just 57 cents, hoping to help build a larger Sunday school. After her death, her small act of generosity sparked a movement. The 57 cents were turned into $250, which kept growing through faith and community involvement. That simple offering led to a church of thousands, a hospital, a university, and the gospel being preached around the world.

In Psalm 25, David cries out in the middle of multiplied troubles. Yet even in distress, he continues to trust God. Troubles may increase, but so do blessings when we place our faith in Him.

In Mark 8, Jesus takes a small offering—just seven loaves and a few fish—and feeds over 4,000 people. He invites His disciples to be part of the miracle, showing us that when we offer what we have, God multiplies it far beyond our expectations.

In Exodus, we see how the tabernacle was built not by one major donor, but by every person whose heart was willing. The people gave so much that Moses had to tell them to stop—there was more than enough.

Whatever we give to God—whether it’s our time, money, energy, or creativity—He multiplies it. The question isn’t, “Is it enough?” It’s, “Am I willing to give it?”

Key Takeaways🔑

• God multiplies what we willingly surrender to Him.
