INTRODUCTION
John 1:1–18 reveals that Jesus is not just the source of love—He is Love Himself, eternal, divine, and pre-existent. God did not send an angel, a prophet, or a message. He sent His very heart—His Son, the eternal Word who was with God and was God.
To be unleashed to love, we must first behold the One who loved us before time, stepped into our world, and revealed the Father through grace and truth.
The more we behold Jesus, the more we are transformed into vessels that carry and display His love. ⸻
📖 1. The Divine Origin of Love (John 1:1–3)
“In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was God.”
John begins not with Bethlehem, but with eternity.
He lifts our eyes to see Jesus before creation, before humanity, before time itself.
Everything was created by Him, and everything exists through Him.
The Jesus who healed the sick and taught the crowds is the same God who spoke the universe into being.
What a blessing to know that Jesus was not a mere prophet or spiritual figure.
Some religions try to reduce Him to that, but John makes it absolutely clear:
Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God.
“For God so loved the world that He sent love.”
Not an idea—not a messenger—
He sent Love Himself.
Jesus came to live in the present, but He existed long before the world began.
His earthly appearance was not His beginning—only the beginning of His revealed love.
Wow. What a blessing.
Before we can be unleashed to love, we must stand in awe of the eternal God who loved us first.
⸻
2. Love Revealed as Light (John 1:4–5)
“In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.”
Jesus brings life where death ruled and light where darkness dominated.
His love shines, heals, reveals, and guides.
Where His light enters, love begins.
To be unleashed to love means walking in His light and letting His life illuminate others.
⸻
Love Declared Through Witness (John 1:6–8)
John the Baptist was sent as a witness to the Light.
Love always points to Jesus.
Love must be declared, testified, shared.
When we truly encounter Christ, witnessing becomes natural—because love cannot stay hidden. ⸻
Love Confronts Rejection With Grace (John 1:9–11)
“He came to His own… but His own did not receive Him.”
Jesus experienced deep rejection, yet He responded with relentless grace.
To be unleashed to love means loving beyond offense, beyond disappointment, beyond self.
Love does not retreat; love keeps reaching.
⸻
Love That Transforms Identity (John 1:12–13)
“To all who believed… He gave the right to become children of God.”
God’s love doesn’t just forgive—it adopts.
It gives you a new identity, a new family, a new birth.
You are not defined by failure or background.
You are a child of God, empowered to love boldly and freely. ⸻ 6. Love Made Visible (John 1:14)
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us…”
God’s love takes action.
He didn’t love humanity from heaven—He came down.
He stepped into our world, our pain, our humanity.
In Jesus, love became visible, tangible, touchable.
And it was full of grace and truth.
To be unleashed to love is to embody love the same way—incarnationally.
⸻
7. Love That Overflows (John 1:16)
“From His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.”
Love flows from fullness, not emptiness.
His grace keeps pouring, filling, renewing, overflowing.
When Christ fills you, you don’t love by effort—you love by overflow.
⸻
8. Love That Reveals the Father (John 1:18)
“No one has ever seen God… but the Son has made Him known.”
Jesus is the visible revelation of the invisible Father.
Every act of Jesus reflected the Father’s heart.
And now, when we love with the love of Christ,
we reveal the Father to those who have never seen Him.
⸻
🔥 Prayer
Lord Jesus, eternal Word and Light of the world,
thank You for loving us before time began.
Fill us with Your fullness until love overflows effortlessly.
Release us from fear, pride, and selfishness,
and unleash us to love with Your grace and truth.
Amen.

Oh Seigneur Jésus, ton amour pour nous est immense, tu as quitté ton trône pour venir personnellement prendre notre place et nous donner la tienne. Accorde nous la grâce par l’aide de ton Esprit de témoigner cet amour dans ce monde. Amen🙏
Amen, that's right, God loved us before we loved Him. How wonderful to hear about God's love, to know that we were unworthy but He still chose us. Honestly, we were all sinners. Salvation is not a price for any effort we have made; it is a gift to the fallen. Thanks you God!!!!!
