Shalom People of God,

As we journey through the year, it is necessary that we pause and reflect on what “next level” truly means.

Every human being was created to grow and to move from one level to another. Life itself teaches us this principle. A baby is born, grows, moves from infancy to toddlerhood, from toddler to adolescence, from adolescence to teenage years, and then into adulthood. Each stage represents a next level, and every next level carries new expectations.

📖 Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)

“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”

Growth is always visible. The difference between a toddler, an adolescent, and a teenager can be seen in how they speak, how they think, how they learn, and how much responsibility they can carry. Their communication improves, their understanding deepens, and their usefulness increases.

📖 Luke 2:52 (NKJV)

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”

In the same way, in the realm of the Spirit, growth is essential. When a person becomes a believer, that is only the beginning. There are levels of spiritual maturity, dimensions of growth, and spiritual stages that God expects us to enter. Every season, every year, and every spiritual gate demands a corresponding level of maturity.

📖 2 Peter 3:18 (NKJV)

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”

This is why our theme is so critical. We cannot be unleashed to transform society—our families, schools, workplaces, and communities—through the gospel and by the power of the Holy Spirit if sanctification is not activated.

📖 Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV)

“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.”

Sanctification creates the environment for the Holy Spirit to dwell, lead, and empower us. God does not take us higher without first taking us deeper. Every next level requires a deeper walk with God.

📖 Psalm 24:3–4 (NKJV)

“Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? He who has clean hands and a pure heart.”

The next level also demands intentionality. We must be intentional about where we are and where God is calling us to go—as individuals, as families, as a ministry, and as a church. We all have a role to play. Prayer is our responsibility, and obedience is our response.

📖 Philippians 3:13–14 (NKJV)

“Forgetting those things which are behind… I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

✨ COMMITTING TO GOD AND PLANNING FOR THE NEXT LEVEL

Before making any decision or securing any plan this year, it is essential to commit it into the hands of God.

📖 Proverbs 16:3 (NKJV)

“Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.”

Joshua 3 reminds us that God’s people were stepping into a road they had never traveled before. Likewise, we have never traveled on the road of 2026. As we move forward, we step into the unknown with prayer, fasting, and faith. Let the cycles of life break over us.

✍️ STEP 1: WRITE DOWN YOUR VISION

Writing down your vision is not enough—it must be coupled with faith, prayer, and action.

📖 Habakkuk 2:2 (NKJV)

“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”

When you write your vision:

• Be clear and specific.

• Align it with God’s Word.

• Treat it as a covenant with God that requires action.

🙏 STEP 2: FAST AND PRAY OVER YOUR VISION

Fasting is not merely abstaining from food; it is a spiritual discipline that aligns our hearts with God and prepares us for His power.

📖 Matthew 17:21 (NKJV)

“This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Like Queen Esther, who fasted for the safety and destiny of her people:

📖 Esther 4:16 (NKJV)

“Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will also fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”

Obedient fasting opens doors, conquers battles, and aligns your next level with God’s timing.

🚀 STEP 3: EXECUTE YOUR VISION

Faith without works is dead. You must act on what God has revealed to you.

📖 James 2:17 (NKJV)

“Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

Obedience transforms vision into reality. Execution is the bridge between your spiritual preparation and tangible impact.

✨ STEP 4: REALIZE IMPACT AND TRANSFORMATION

When you write, pray, fast, and act, you position yourself for breakthroughs. Expect divine favor, guidance, and transformation.

📖 Isaiah 43:19 (NKJV)

“Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

🔥 DEDICATE JANUARY TO PRAYER AND FASTING

Do you desire to be on fire for God? Dedicate the first month of the year as sacred for prayer and fasting.

• If healthy, fast in obedience.

• If on medication, seek medical advice.

• If breastfeeding, join in prayers and partial fasting.

This will shape your 2026 and position you for consecration, breakthrough, and impact.

📖 Joel 2:12 (NKJV)

“Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”

🙏 PRAYER POINTS

• Thank the Lord for this devotion and ask Him to help you engage in this spiritual journey with the hope of coming out consecrated for your next level.

• Pray for strength, grace, and wisdom to execute God’s plans faithfully.

• Pray for me, your pastor, that God would continue to give me strength and grace to deliver this devotion consistently.

📖 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NKJV)

“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Wow, I truly thank God for this devotion; it has shown me again how important it is to have a vision, but that we must also move in obedience so that God’s plan can be fulfilled in our lives.

May this year be full of blessings and breakthroughs for our church, and may the Lord sanctify us so that we can continue to the next level.

Thank you, Pastor, for your work and complete dedication to God’s plan. May the Lord continue to give you the strength to do His work, and may the anointing of the Lord be upon you.

In Jesus name, Amen 🙏

God bless you all
