End of Month Fasting & Prayer – Day 1

24. June 2026

Devotion by Reverend Joseph Antwi

Theme: Dream Come True

From Dream to Destiny

Scriptural Reading

Genesis 37:1–36 “Then Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.”

— Genesis 37:5 (NKJV)

“So he said to them, ‘Please hear this dream which I have dreamed.’”

— Genesis 37:6 (NKJV)

Hello Church!

I am very excited to welcome you to our End of Month Fasting and Prayer, dubbed “Dream Come True.” What a powerful way to conclude the sixth month of the year and position ourselves for the second half of the year.

As we stand at the gates of July, we are engaging those gates through prayer, faith, and expectation. We are going back into the archives of the dreams God has placed in our hearts with the confident assurance that what God has spoken can still come to pass.

Today, we turn our attention to the story of Joseph in Genesis 37.

Church, dreams are important. Anyone who stops dreaming should pause and re-examine their spiritual outlook. Dreams matter. Some dreams come while we sleep, while others are visions of what God wants our lives to become. A dream can be the picture of your future, the purpose God has placed in your heart, or the hope of what tomorrow should look like.

Joseph was a dreamer.

The Bible says:

“Then Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.”

— Genesis 37:5 (NKJV)

Interestingly, Joseph’s problem was not that he had a dream. The challenge was what happened after the dream. One lesson we learn early is that not everyone who hears your dream will celebrate it. Wisdom is needed not only to receive a dream but also to discern how and with whom to share it.

Joseph’s story teaches us that every God-given dream will be tested before it is manifested.

Many people love the palace but forget the pit. Many celebrate the crown but ignore the process and the price.

Joseph did not move from the dream straight into the palace. Likewise, David did not become king immediately after Samuel anointed him.

“Between prophecy and manifestation lies a bridge called faith.”

— Rev. Joseph Antwi

The distance between what God has spoken and what you eventually see fulfilled is often crossed by faith.

Joseph crossed that bridge through rejection, betrayal, slavery, imprisonment, and delay. Yet through every challenge, Scripture gives us one powerful statement:

“But the LORD was with Joseph.”

— Genesis 39:2 (NKJV)

Perhaps God has spoken concerning your family, ministry, marriage, career, business, education, or calling, and you have not yet seen the fulfillment.

Today we are reminded that God’s dreams do not die because of opposition.

Joseph’s brothers hated him.

The pit could not destroy him.

Slavery could not stop him.

Prison could not silence him.

Delay could not cancel him.

Because when God has spoken, no force of darkness can overturn His counsel—provided we continue walking in obedience and faith.

The Bible says:

“I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.”

— Job 42:2 (NKJV)

As we begin this fasting journey, may every dormant dream be revived, every delayed promise be remembered, and every God-given vision move closer to fulfillment.

Now let us go into the prayer points.

Final Declaration

My dream shall not die.

My destiny shall not be aborted.

My season of fulfillment is coming.

Every pit shall become a pathway.

Every delay shall become a testimony.

Every promise of God shall come to pass.

The God of Joseph shall visit me.

Our Church shall dream big and accomplish great things.

We shall be preserved in all our ways.

In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Daily Charge

Church, do not judge God’s promises by your current circumstances. Joseph’s dream survived the pit, the prison, and the process. Your dream will survive too.

Stay faithful. Stay prayerful. Stay hopeful.

The God who gave the dream is the God who will bring it to pass.

Shalom

Rev. Joe

What I took with me from our devotion today:

One lesson I learned is that not everyone who hears my dream will celebrate it. Wisdom is needed not only to receive a dream but also to discern how and with whom to share it.

“Then Joseph had a dream, and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more.”Genesis 37:5 (NKJV)

Joseph’s problem started after the dream, which taught me that I have to discern who I can tell my dreams to. After receiving a prophecy, You don’t just turn straight to that person. Between prophecy and manifestation lies a bridge called faith. The distance between the prophecy you have received from the Lord and what yo…

I cannot thank God enough for how much He blesses us through our Pastors devotions! 🔥

For me this devotion again highlights the importance and power of faith.

“Between prophecy and manifestation lies a bridge called faith.”😮‍💨

It reminds me that faith is the fuel for any anwered prayer, blessing or miracle. Every miracle Jesus did for the people, they had great faith that He will do it. For example the centurion who's servant was paralyzed... The centurion had so much faith in Jesus... And Jesus said to him:

"Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you." (Matthew 8:13)

One of my favorite sayings: "God stears the boat, but you have to row"…

Every single day in our lives is perfectly orchestrated by our Heavenly Father. Within each person, He has placed a longing that can only be fulfilled by Him. So no matter what journey we must take or the season we go through, He will complete the work He has started in us. As stated in Philippians 1:6 " Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus".

Because indeed, the Lord is with us , always! God is so good ! His love for us is beyond anything, and He wont give up on us ,, so lets just have faith in Him as He…

What a powerful devotional 🙏

It reminded me once again that even when the world doesn’t seem to be on your side, and things are not going the way you expected, God will work everything out for our good.

When Pastor said, “Between prophecy and manifestation lies a bridge called faith,” it made me realize that our faith in God is what helps us keep moving forward and reach all our goals and dream no matter how huge they are.

“I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.”

— Job 42:2 (NKJV)

This verse will always remind me that no matter what I go through, God is in control and…

Today’s devotion reminded me of an old sermon by pastor: The Process!

Many people only see the goal, only want the end result, but aren’t willing to go through a process. To go through difficulties in order to reach that goal. Joseph’s faith and character weren’t formed when he became a leader, but while he was suffering. But as pastor put it so beautifully:

“But the LORD was with Joseph.” — Genesis 39:2 (NKJV)

“Our true faith will be shown in valleys, not on mountaintops!”

That’s why our Secret Place is so important and it shows us that there’s no such thing as “overnight success ” in Christianity🙏

Thank you Pastor and Comms Team, once again. I’m excited for this…
