INTRODUCTION

Shalom, people of God.

Before God elevates a person, He sanctifies them. Promotion in the Kingdom of God is never accidental. Every new level comes with a deeper call to holiness, separation, and consecration. God does not only prepare the blessing. He prepares the vessel.

Sanctification is not punishment. It is preparation. If God is calling you higher, He will first call you deeper.

1. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE SANCTIFIED?

To be sanctified means to be:

• Set apart for God’s purpose

• Cleansed from contamination

• Dedicated for holy use

📖 1 Thessalonians 4:3 (NKJV)

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification…”

God does not sanctify us because He hates us. He sanctifies us because He trusts us with more.

2. SANCTIFICATION ALWAYS PRECEDES THE NEXT LEVEL

Throughout Scripture, every major transition was preceded by sanctification.

📖 Joshua 3:5 (NKJV)

“And Joshua said to the people, ‘Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.’”

Before the Jordan parted, the people were commanded to sanctify themselves. God’s wonders follow obedience.

3. GOD IS MORE INTERESTED IN WHO YOU ARE BECOMING

📖 Psalm 24:3–4 (NKJV)

“Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? … He who has clean hands and a pure heart.”

God does not elevate character He has not purified.

4. SANCTIFICATION IS A DAILY WALK

📖 Romans 12:1 (NKJV)

“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God…”

Sanctification is a daily decision. What you allow today determines what God entrusts to you tomorrow.

5. JESUS: OUR MODEL OF HOLINESS

📖 John 17:17 (NKJV)

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”

The Word of God is the instrument of sanctification.

PRAYER

Lord, sanctify me for my next level.

Cleanse my heart.

Align my desires.

Prepare me for what You have prepared for me.

FINAL EXHORTATION

Beloved, do not resist the process.

Sanctification is the proof that God is preparing you for more.

Stay clean.

Stay obedient.

Stay consecrated.
