Introduction

Hello Church, welcome to Day 13 of our fasting and prayers. We thank God for His sustaining grace and strength upon us throughout this journey. We continue to witness God’s hand among us as we relive the Pentecost experience.

Today we are focusing on activated wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

Church, wisdom is very important in the life of every believer. Power without wisdom can become dangerous. Gifts without wisdom can create confusion. Zeal without knowledge can mislead people, and understanding without the Spirit can become merely human reasoning.

The Holy Spirit does not only release power; He also gives wisdom, knowledge, and understanding so that we can function effectively in every area of life.

Wisdom existed before creation itself.

The Bible says:

“The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old.”

— Proverbs 8:22 (NKJV)

Again, Scripture tells us:

“The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding He established the heavens; By His knowledge the depths were broken up…”

— Proverbs 3:19–20 (NKJV)

Church, if God Himself created the world through wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, then we cannot build our homes, marriages, ministries, churches, and destinies without these three dimensions operating in our lives.

The Bible says:

“Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”

— Proverbs 24:3–4 (NKJV)

Solomon understood this mystery. When God gave him an opportunity to ask for anything, he did not ask for riches, fame, or the destruction of enemies. He asked for wisdom.

The Bible says:

“Give therefore Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people…”

— 1 Kings 3:9 (NKJV)

Church, we need wisdom to build God’s Kingdom. We need knowledge to understand the times and seasons, and understanding to apply truth correctly. We need wisdom for ministry, for leadership, for relationships, for finances, and for the next season of our lives.

As we pray today, may the Spirit of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding rest upon us and upon the Church.

* Remove division, misunderstanding, and offense.

* Help us build Your Kingdom with one heart and one vision.

Our leaders shall walk in wisdom.

Unity and oneness shall prevail among us.

We shall build God’s Kingdom effectively.

The Spirit of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding shall rest upon us.
