14-Days National Fasting & Prayers - Day 10

Theme: Experiencing the Unleashed Power of the Holy Spirit

04.06.2025

Focus Scriptures:

1 Peter 1:15–16 (NIV) "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.’”

Romans 12:1–2 (NIV) "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will."

Deeper Consecration and Holiness

(1 Peter 1:15–16, Romans 12:1–2

Today, on the 10th day of our fast, the Lord is inviting us into a deeper walk of consecration and holiness. We are moving beyond the outer courts—into the Holy of Holies, into deeper intimacy with our Lord and Master. This is a call to lay aside every weight, every sin that clings so closely, and to run the race with endurance and focus.

As Paul passionately pleads in Romans 12, we are to offer ourselves—body, mind, and soul—as living sacrifices, set apart and holy, fully yielded to God. This is the purest form of worship: not just in words or songs, but in a lifestyle that reflects His mercy and grace.

Beloved, let us not return to former patterns or desires. Let us not conform to the temporary customs of this world. Instead, let us allow the Holy Spirit to renew our minds through the Word of God, reshaping our thoughts, habits, and desires so we can walk in God's good, pleasing, and perfect will.

As obedient children, may we embrace our new identity in Christ and commit ourselves to a lifestyle of holiness—not by our strength, but by the enabling grace of the Holy Spirit. For He who has called us is holy, and He desires that we be holy in all we do (1 Peter 1:14–16).

Prayer Points

  1. Praise the God who sanctifies – Thank Him for His power to make you holy (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

  2. Ask for cleansed thoughts and desires – Invite God to purify your thoughts, desires, and motives (Psalm 51:10).

  3. Pray for grace for holy living – Receive strength to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions (Titus 2:11–12).

  4. Offer your body as a sacrifice – Sacrifice every part of yourself as an instrument of righteousness (Romans 12:1).

  5. Declare yourself set apart – Speak over yourself: “I am set apart for God's purpose” (2 Timothy 2:21).

Let us conclude today with this powerful declaration from the Apostle Paul:"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)
