Seeing What God Has Prepared and Allowing the Holy Spirit to Reveal the Deep Things

“However, as it is written: ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’—the things God has prepared for those who love him—these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”
DEVOTION
Beloved Church, Shalom!
Yesterday, we prayed for NEW DIRECTION—that God would open our eyes to recognize what He is beginning and give us discernment to know where He is leading us.
Today, we go deeper.
There are things God has prepared for us that our natural eyes cannot see, our natural ears cannot hear and our natural minds cannot comprehend.
Paul says:
“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived.”
But the Scripture does not end there:
“These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.”
This is the dimension we are seeking today.
We do not want to live only by natural understanding. We do not want to make decisions merely according to human reasoning. We need the Spirit of God.
The Holy Spirit reveals what God has prepared. Paul says:
“The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.”
The Holy Spirit searches what we cannot search out naturally. He reveals what is hidden, gives spiritual insight, brings understanding and helps us recognize what God is doing in a particular season.
HOLY SPIRIT, SEARCH US AND REVEAL THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD
Show us what we cannot see. Reveal what we have not understood. Give us wisdom concerning our future, discernment concerning relationships, understanding concerning our marriages and families, wisdom concerning our careers and calling, and revelation concerning the direction of the Church.
But the Spirit does not only reveal what God wants to give us. He also reveals what God wants to remove from us.
TEARING DOWN THE OLD TO MAKE ROOM FOR THE NEW
A new direction requires us to allow God to remove what cannot go with us into the new season.
There may be old mindsets, attitudes, fears, wounds, habits, patterns or cycles that have been part of us for many years. Some things have been with us so long that we have accepted them as normal.
But if they are not part of God’s purpose, they must go.
We cannot ask God for a new beginning while protecting the things that belong to the old season.
Therefore, our prayer is:
“LORD, TEAR DOWN EVERYTHING IN ME THAT NEEDS TO GO.”
Break every old mindset, destructive pattern, limitation and cycle that has followed us for too long. Renew our minds and make room for what You are doing.
FOLLOWING THE VISION GOD HAS GIVEN US
Numbers 16:1–4, 28–30
The rebellion of Korah, Dathan and Abiram against Moses gives us a serious warning about independence, rebellion and resisting God-given leadership.
Korah challenged Moses and Aaron, saying:
“You have gone too far! The whole community is holy, every one of them, and the LORD is with them. Why then do you set yourselves above the LORD’s assembly?” — Numbers 16:3 NIV
The issue was not simply disagreement. It was a refusal to recognize the assignment and order God had established.
Moses had received an assignment from God, but an independent spirit arose within the congregation and sought to challenge the direction God had given through His appointed leadership.
As we pray for a new direction, we must also pray for a heart that is willing to follow God’s vision together.
The Church must not become a collection of independent visions competing against the vision God has given the house.
We need hearts that can say:
“Lord, give me grace to carry the vision You have given us.”
Let there be unity of heart, loyalty to the assignment, humility to receive direction and willingness to serve together.
We reject every independent spirit that says, “I will do it my way.”
We ask God for a spirit that says, “Lord, how can I contribute to what You are doing?”
DAY 2 - PRAYER POINTS
1. WORSHIP & THANKSGIVING
Psalm 103:1–5
Thank God for His faithfulness throughout the year and for everything He has prepared ahead.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for bringing us this far. Thank You for every prayer, every lesson, every victory and every promise. We trust You for the new things You are bringing forth.
2. HOLY SPIRIT, REVEAL THE DEEP THINGS
1 Corinthians 2:10–12
Pray that we will not live merely by the spirit of man or natural understanding, but become deeply sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, search all things and reveal the deep things of God to us. Give us spiritual understanding beyond human reasoning. Reveal Your purposes, Your plans and Your direction for our lives and for Your Church.
3. TEAR DOWN EVERYTHING THAT MUST GO
2 Corinthians 10:4–5; Ephesians 4:22–24
Pray against old mindsets, destructive patterns, fears, wounds, attitudes and cycles that have remained for a long time.
Prayer:
Father, tear down everything in us that does not belong in the new season. Break every old mindset, destructive pattern, limitation and cycle that has followed us for too long. Renew our minds and make us ready for what You are doing.
4. GIVE US HEARTS THAT FOLLOW THE VISION
Habakkuk 2:2; Numbers 16:1–4
Pray against an independent spirit, rebellion, competition and division in the Church. Pray for humility, unity, loyalty and a heart to follow the vision God has given the house.
Prayer:
Father, give us one heart to follow the vision You have given us. Remove every independent and rebellious spirit that seeks to operate outside Your purpose. Give us humility, loyalty, unity and a servant’s heart. Help every leader and member understand their place and faithfully contribute to the assignment You have entrusted to us.
5. BRING FORTH WHAT GOD HAS CONCEIVED
Isaiah 66:9; Luke 1:35
Pray over everything you have carried before God from January until now.
Prayer:
Father, by the power of the Holy Spirit, bring forth everything You have conceived in us. Let the prayers, dreams, assignments and purposes that are from You receive life and manifestation according to Your will.
6. DELÉMONT CITY CHURCH & LOVE CITY CHURCH BADEN
1 Corinthians 16:9
Pray for the birth, establishment and growth of Delémont City Church and Love City Church Baden.
Prayer:
Father, let Delémont City Church and Love City Church Baden be birthed and established by the Holy Spirit. Provide the people, workers, resources, finances, favor and divine connections required. Let these new territories become places of salvation, prayer, discipleship and Kingdom influence. Let nothing hinder what You have ordained.
7. PRESERVATION OF PASTOR JOSEPH, LADY ANITA & THE ENTIRE LEADERSHIP
Psalm 121:7–8; Isaiah 54:17
Pray for Pastor Joseph, Lady Anita, their family and the entire leadership.
Prayer:
Father, preserve Pastor Joseph, Lady Anita, their family and the entire leadership. Hold us firmly in Your hands. Protect us from every attack and preserve our marriages, families, spiritual lives and divine assignments. Give us wisdom, unity, strength and grace to walk together in the new direction You are giving us.
🔥 DAY 2 DECLARATION
The Holy Spirit is revealing the deep things of God to me. My spiritual eyes are open. Every old mindset, pattern, cycle and limitation that must go is being torn down. I receive grace to follow God’s vision with humility and unity. What God has conceived in me shall come forth by the power of the Holy Spirit. I am making room for the new! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
