Theme: Sharing the Love of Christ to the Undying World — Church Without Walls

Introduction
Dear Church,
We are truly excited as we come to the climax of our monthly theme: “Sharing the Love of Christ to a Never-Dying World” — a call to live as a church without walls.
Over the past weeks, we have journeyed through powerful devotions, each aligning us with God’s heart for this generation. And today, we arrive at the final chapter of First Epistle to Timothy—a moment of reflection, alignment, and spiritual sharpening.
But before we continue, let us take a moment to reflect on what God did yesterday.
We witnessed the mighty hand of God at work. Lives were touched, hearts were stirred, and healing flowed. The presence of the Lord was tangible among us. It was also a strong reminder that our faith must not be passive—but aggressive, active, and alive.
We give God all the glory for what He has done.
Now, as we turn to 1 Timothy 6:1–21, I want to encourage you:
Take a moment.
Open your Bible.
Create a quiet space.
Underline what speaks to you. Let the Word minister to you personally.
And now… let us journey together.
⸻
Scripture Focus
“But godliness with contentment is great gain.” — 1 Timothy 6:6 (KJV)
⸻
1. Your Conduct Still Matters
Paul begins by addressing servants and masters, reminding us that even in challenging or unfair situations, our conduct must honor God.
Your environment does not excuse your character.
Whether at work, at home, or in ministry—how you live reflects who you serve. When we walk in humility and integrity, we bring honor to the name of God.
⸻
2. Beware of False Doctrine and Pride
Paul warns about those who teach wrongly—people filled with pride, argument, and self-interest. They use spiritual language, but their hearts are far from truth.
One of the clearest signs of error is this:
using godliness as a means of personal gain.
As a church, we must grow in discernment. Not everything that sounds deep is from God. Truth produces transformation, not confusion and division.
⸻
3. The Power of Contentment
“For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.” (v.7)
This is a sobering reminder: life is temporary.
Contentment is not a lack of ambition—it is resting in God while walking in purpose.
When your heart is content, you are no longer controlled by pressure, comparison, or the need to prove anything.
⸻
4. The Danger of Loving Money
“For the love of money is the root of all evil…” (v.10)
Money is not evil—but the love of it is dangerous.
When money takes the place of God, it leads to compromise, sorrow, and spiritual drift. Many have chased wealth and lost their faith, their peace, and their purpose.
This is a call to check our hearts:
What truly drives us?
⸻
5. A Call to Aggressive Faith
“But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness…” (v.11)
Here is the instruction:
* Flee what destroys
* Follow what builds
* Fight the good fight of faith
* Lay hold on eternal life
This is where aggressive faith comes in.
We don’t drift into godliness—we pursue it intentionally.
⸻
6. Guard What Has Been Entrusted to You
Paul ends with a powerful charge:
“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust…” (v.20)
Your faith is a treasure.
Your calling is a treasure.
The gospel entrusted to you is a treasure.
Guard it. Protect it. Don’t trade it for temporary things.
⸻
Pastoral Reflection
This chapter challenges us deeply:
* Are we pursuing God—or using God to pursue things?
* Are we content—or constantly chasing more?
* Are we guarding our faith—or slowly drifting?
True gain is not what we accumulate—it is who we become in Christ.
⸻
Prayer
Father,
Thank You for Your Word. Teach us to live with godliness and contentment. Deliver our hearts from the love of money and worldly distractions. Give us discernment to walk in truth and reject error. Help us to pursue righteousness with aggressive faith and to guard what You have entrusted to us.
Let our lives reflect Your glory as we reach a never-dying world with the love of Christ.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
⸻
Action Point
Today, intentionally realign your heart.
Choose godliness over gain, purpose over pressure, and eternity over temporary success.
God bless you all fo coming in your numbers yesterday.
Shalom

The true gain is not in what we accumulate — but in who we become in Christ. ❤️❤️🔥🗣️
Today I was allowed to learn that what we seek should not be earthly, but solely and only God.
• No matter what situation you are in, act with reverence toward God.The way you live shows whom you serve. We must understand that we do not serve people, but God.
• If we have God and still desire more from the world, it shows that we have not understood the value of His presence, salvation, and the Gospel.
• Our gain is in the Kingdom of Heaven, not on earth, therefore we should strive for it.-> Matthew 6:33
Thank you Pastor Joseph, may the…
The part about a aggressive faith really hit me today.
*We do not simply drift into godliness — we pursue it intentionally.*
It is once again a strong reminder that living out our faith is an intention we should set consciously. Fighting the good fight is a decision we must make anew every morning.
That is why Paul says to Timothy in verse 11:
“Rather, make every effort to do what is right, to serve God, to trust in Him, and to love others wholeheartedly.”
These words show that faith must be lived out actively — with dedication, endurance, and intentional decision.
Thank you, Pastor Joseph, for this powerful devotion, and thank you to the Comms Team. 🙌🏾🔥
