Day 45
Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for the power of Jesus’ resurrection. Help me to trust in Your strength, walk in Your presence, and rely on Your provision. May I live each day in the confidence that You are with me, leading and sustaining me. Amen.
Scriptures of the Day:
Ephesians 1:19–20 – "…His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength He exerted when He raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms."
Matthew 28:18, 20 – "Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me… And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’"
Philippians 4:19 – "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus."
The Power, Presence, and Provision of the Risen Christ
Professor C.E.M. Joad, once a skeptic, was asked: If you could ask any historical figure one question, whom would you ask, and what would you ask? He answered: I would ask Jesus Christ, "Did You or did You not rise from the dead?"
Later in life, he encountered Jesus personally, and the resurrection became undeniable to him. The truth of the resurrection is life-changing—it speaks of God’s power, His presence, and His provision.
His Power
The resurrection is the ultimate display of God’s power. David praises God’s strength and might (Psalm 21:13), and in the New Testament, Jesus is described as being at the right hand of God (Acts 2:33). Though evil may seem to prevail for a time, Jesus holds ultimate authority, and He will return to judge the living and the dead.
His Presence
When the women saw the empty tomb, the angel assured them, "He is not here; He has risen." (Matthew 28:6). They ran with joy and encountered the risen Jesus personally. Jesus’ resurrection is not just a historical event but a present reality—He promises, "I am with you always." (Matthew 28:20). No matter what you face, you are never alone.
His Provision
In the wilderness, God provided manna—bread from heaven—day by day (Exodus 16:4). Likewise, Jesus, the Bread of Life (John 6:48), meets our every need. Instead of worrying about tomorrow, we are called to trust in God’s daily provision. His faithfulness never runs dry.
💡 Takeaway:
Jesus’ resurrection demonstrates His power over all things.
The presence of Jesus is with you always.
God will provide for you, both physically and spiritually—trust Him daily.
