Devotion by Reverend Joseph Antwi
Theme: Sharing the Love of Christ (Practical Transformation)
Anchor Scriptures: Isaiah 58:6–12 | Matthew 25:35–40 | Galatians 6:1

Devotional Reflection
The love of Christ is not only something we proclaim—it is something we demonstrate. True spirituality expresses itself through compassion, justice, and practical care for others. Isaiah 58 reminds us that fasting that pleases God is inseparable from acts of mercy, justice, and generosity. When the Church lives out the love of Christ practically, nations experience healing and restoration.
Jesus taught that serving the hungry, the stranger, the sick, and the imprisoned is service rendered directly to Him (Matthew 25:35–40). Our love for God must therefore overflow into tangible action toward people. In a world marked by inequality, injustice, and brokenness, God desires to use us as vessels of hope and transformation.
As we move deeper into this fast, we are reminded that finishing well is just as important as starting well. Scripture teaches us that the end of a matter is better than its beginning (Ecclesiastes 7:8). This is not the time to lose focus, grow weary, or slow down. Rather, we must engage even more intentionally—encouraging one another, strengthening our members, and sustaining the momentum God has already released.
The Lord has granted us divine speed, and it is our responsibility to steward it faithfully. Let us press on together, refusing to give up, knowing that the next fourteen days represent another level of grace, impact, and spiritual elevation. As we endure, love practically, and remain steadfast, nations will encounter the transforming power of Christ through us.
