Devotional Reflection (by Rev. Joseph Antwi):

Many believers are held back by habits, addictions, and spiritual ties that tie them to the past or to ungodly influences. Fasting combined with prayer releases the power to break every chain. God’s Spirit equips us to be free from anything that hinders our destiny.

Application:

● Identify any personal, relational, or generational ties that are not honoring God.

● Pray for strength to break free and claim liberty in Christ.

● Intercede for divine acceleration as we move into the 10th month.

Additional Resource: If you want further help in overcoming addictions, I preached a sermon at the Love City Youth Church called “Overcoming Addictions.” Ask my PA for the slides—she will give you the resource and help you apply it.

Practical Takeaway:

Write down one area of bondage or delay and pray specifically against it each day of the fast.

Meditation & Prayer Points:

1. Thank God for His sovereignty. (Psalm 24:1)

2. Break demonic delays in life, ministry, and destiny. (Daniel 10:13)

3. Break addictions — habits, substances, and ungodly dependencies. (1 Corinthians 6:18; Galatians 5:1)

4. Cut off spiritual soul ties that hinder destiny and relationships. (1 Corinthians 7:15; 2 Corinthians 6:14)

5. Command every closed gate to open and declare freedom from stagnation. (Isaiah 45:2; Deuteronomy 1:6)

6. Pray for divine acceleration as we enter the 10th month. (Amos 9:13)

7. Pray for New Grounds Ministry and LCF — that Luzern will be released for the gospel and God’s Kingdom will expand through this fellowship. (Acts 1:8; Psalm 67:1–2)
