Daily Bible Plan – Acts of the Apostels 24 + 25

31. March 2026

Devotion by Reverend Joseph Antwi

Theme: My Job, My Kingdom Assignment

Devotion: Acts 24:1–27 & Acts 25:1–32

Hello church family,

I’m blessed and excited to come your way again with today’s devotion.

Church, gradually we are kissing the month of March goodbye today — praise God! What a journey it has been. And today marks the climax of our monthly theme: “My Job, My Kingdom Assignment.”

As we draw closer to Easter, let us remain focused — not on traditions, not on cultural symbols — but on Christ Jesus and Him crucified.

Through our journey in Acts of the Apostles, we have clearly seen that when a man is committed to his Kingdom assignment, opposition will come — but God’s preservation is guaranteed.

Let us go into today’s Word.

Acts 24 — The Battle of Accusations

1. Not Every Accusation Is Truth (Acts 24:1–9)

Paul the Apostle is brought before Governor Felix, and Tertullus presents strong accusations.

(Paraphrase: They called Paul a troublemaker, stirring up riots among the Jews.)

Church, when you walk in purpose, people will mislabel you.

Not every accusation is truth. Stay focused on your assignment.

2. Know Who You Are and Stand Firm (Acts 24:10–21)

Paul responds calmly and confidently.

(Paraphrase: He declares his faith, his clear conscience, and his belief in the resurrection.)

Church, when you know your identity, you don’t panic under pressure.

Truth has a voice — and it speaks boldly.

3. Truth Will Convict, Even If It Is Delayed (Acts 24:22–27)

Felix listens to Paul.

(Paraphrase: Paul reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and judgment, and Felix became afraid.)

Yet despite conviction, Felix delayed.

(Paraphrase: He kept Paul for two years, hoping for a bribe.)

Church, this is serious — truth can touch a man, but if he keeps postponing, he may miss his moment.

And sometimes, your assignment will require patience.

Acts 25 — Standing Before Power

4. Purpose Will Always Attract Opposition (Acts 25:1–7)

Paul is brought again before Porcius Festus.

(Paraphrase: Many serious accusations were brought, but none could be proven.)

Church, when your life carries purpose, opposition is part of the journey.

5. Use Your Platform for the Kingdom (Acts 25:8–11)

Paul stands firm and appeals to Caesar.

Church, Paul understood something powerful — wherever he found himself, that place became a pulpit.

Whether before governors, leaders, or ordinary people, he was ready to speak.

6. Be Ready to Persuade — Even Before Kings (Acts 25:13–27)

Paul is now brought before King Herod Agrippa II and Bernice.

Church, note this carefully — Paul did not become silent before power.

He tried to persuade the king.

He was not intimidated by position, titles, or authority.

Whether in the presence of kings, governors, or presidents, Paul was ready to share the Gospel.

And this shows something very important — Paul was not empty.

He had studied. He had learned. He had grown.

At one point, the response was clear:

(Paraphrase: “Paul, your great learning is driving you insane!”)

Church, this tells us something —

If you want to advance the Kingdom, you must also invest in learning.

You must know the Word.

You must understand what you believe.

You must be able to defend your faith.

Because real life will test you.

Your friends will question you.

Your colleagues may misrepresent you.

Your environment may challenge your beliefs.

But like Paul, you must carry both the Word and your testimony.

7. Your Testimony Is a Weapon

Paul did not stop speaking.

He shared his life, his encounter, and his transformation.

And listen to what he said to the king:

(Paraphrase: “I wish that you not only, but all who hear me today, might become as I am — except for these chains.”)

What a powerful statement!

Church, imagine — speaking to a king and saying:

“I want you to be like me.”

Not in position.

Not in title.

But in Christ.

Even with all the king’s power, Paul knew he carried something greater — salvation.

That is boldness. That is conviction. That is Kingdom mindset.

8. God Is Working Even When Men Don’t Understand

(Paraphrase: Festus admitted he had no clear charge against Paul.)

Church, even when people don’t understand your calling, God is still working behind the scenes.

What looks like confusion is actually divine positioning.

Final Charge

Church family,

As we close this month, take your chair time seriously today.

Read Acts of the Apostles 24:1–27 and 25:1–32 slowly. Underline what speaks to you.

Take time to pray deeply:

• Pray into the Word

• Pray for the church

• Pray for your district

• Pray for your pastors, presiding leaders, and their wives

Stand in the gap.

Remember — while some are praying, others are plotting. Be among those who pray.

And don’t forget:

• Invite someone

• Leave your comments

God bless you richly.

Pastor Joseph Antwi
