Introduction

Hello Church,

Congratulations on reaching Day 10 of our fasting and prayers. We thank God for His grace, strength, and sustaining power over us throughout this journey. As we have journeyed through this season of prayer and fasting, we believe that the Lord has been preparing not only individuals but also His Church for greater manifestations of His glory.

Wow! As we climax our 10 days international fasting today, let us not forget to thank and praise the Almighty God for all He has done among us. We have truly witnessed the hand of God at work throughout this journey.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Apostle Frank Adu Gyamfi and his wife, the National Executive Council, our District Pastors and their wives, the National Presbytery, our dedicated translators, and all those who participated in leading any of our sessions. We also appreciate every brother and sister who sacrificed their time and effort to make this fasting impactful.

And of course, a very special thank you goes to you—everyone who participated faithfully, joined the prayer meetings, fasted, prayed, connected online and onsite, and remained committed throughout this journey. May the Lord richly reward your labor of love.

Church, we can testify that God has indeed done amazing things among us during these ten days. We have experienced unity, hunger for God, deeper intimacy, and fresh encounters with the Holy Spirit.

Just to note, Basel District will be extending the fasting until this coming Friday, where we will climax with our powerful Prayer Factory gathering on 29th May from 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM. We believe God still has greater things in store, and we encourage everyone to remain expectant and connected.

Also, if any of you would like to join our daily prayer lunches, please feel free to reach out to anyone from Basel District. From Monday through Friday, we will continue gathering in prayer, believing God for greater manifestations, testimonies, and breakthroughs. Let us continue to stay connected because the fire must continue burning.

Today we are focusing on the Explosion of the Spirit Power in the Church.

When we read Acts chapter 2, we see the beginning of an extraordinary move of God. The believers were gathered together in one accord, and suddenly there came a sound from heaven like a mighty rushing wind, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. That moment changed history forever.

Again in Acts chapter 10, while Peter was still preaching, the Holy Spirit fell upon the people. No one had to force anything and no one had to manufacture anything. The Spirit of God moved powerfully because hearts were open and ready to receive.

Church, the power of the Holy Spirit was never intended to remain hidden within the four walls of the church. The power of God was given so that lives would be transformed, souls would be saved, miracles would happen, healing would manifest, and nations would encounter Jesus.

The Bible says:

“For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.”

— 1 Corinthians 4:20 (NKJV)

Today, we are believing God for an explosion of the Holy Spirit’s power in our churches, in our homes, in our ministries, and in our personal lives. We are praying that ordinary believers will do extraordinary things by the power of God.

May there be a fresh outpouring upon CoP Switzerland and upon the global Church.
