Introduction
Hello Church,
Congratulations on reaching Day 9 of our fasting and prayers. We thank God for His sustaining grace and strength upon us throughout this journey. Every day we continue pressing into His presence, and we believe God is preparing us not only individually but also corporately as a Church.
I trust that yesterday each one of us had a truly amazing and blessed time meeting together in our various churches. We also had a wonderful time across our districts and assemblies. I believe God moved powerfully in Zurich City Church, Geneva District, Zurich Central, Basel-Bern District, and in the prayer gathering in Lausanne where God did amazing things in the heart of the city.
Church, we can only praise the Lord because indeed reliving the Pentecost experience has been reactivated among us. We are beginning to witness hunger, passion, unity, and the operation of the Holy Spirit among us.
Today we are focusing on reviving the growth of CoP Switzerland spiritually, numerically, and financially.
Well, I do not know about you, but I am believing God for a Church that expands not only spiritually, but also numerically and financially. As the Church in Acts grew spiritually, there was also numerical increase. Sometimes people say, “It is not about numbers.” While that is true in one sense, we also see clearly that when the Holy Spirit came upon the believers, their numbers increased.
The Bible says:
“And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.”
— Acts 2:47 (NKJV)
We pray that in this season, the numbers in our churches will increase. Personally, in Basel, I am praying for a triple portion of the membership we currently have, in Jesus’ Name. This is not too difficult for the Holy Spirit because He owns the Church, and His desire is for people to come to salvation.
The Bible says:
“For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
— 1 Timothy 2:3–4 (NKJV)
We are also believing God for financial growth and empowerment. Scripture tells us:
“And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth…”
— Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV)
In the early Church, believers brought what they had and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
The Bible says:
“Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.”
— Acts 4:34–35 (NKJV)
They were not forced; they were moved by love and generosity. Because of that, no one among them lacked anything.
Imagine a church that is financially strong. Imagine a church that can support missions, sponsor students, help families in need, assist those seeking refuge and stability, and impact society in practical ways. Imagine a church where there is no lack because God has raised faithful stewards and kingdom-minded believers.
Financial resources do not replace spirituality, but they become instruments for kingdom advancement. There are areas of society that require both spiritual influence and practical resources.
Therefore, we pray that God will raise among us kingdom financiers, faithful stewards, entrepreneurs, professionals, and people who will use their resources for the advancement of God’s work.
The Bible says:
“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NKJV)
May the Lord breathe afresh upon His Church and bring supernatural increase in every area.
Now let us go into the prayer points.
